What format are the photos in? All Photolibrary.co.za - Photography by Erik Forster photos are in JPG format. For the most part all JPG's are saved at 80% or higher. What is the resolution of the photographs? All Photolibrary.co.za - Photography by Erik Forsterphotographs were captured with professional Nikon DSLR cameras. (D1x, D2x and soon the D3) and are either 6, 10 or 12 Megapixels in size. From experience this will easily print A0 and with a bit of manipulation the images can be interpollated to any size required. Some of the photographs represented by Photolibrary.co.za - Photography by Erik Forster were resized or compressed. should they be the right photo for your needs but you require a higher resolution version, contact us and we will gladly send you the highest resolution version we have on file. Are your photos model released?
Some are, and some are not. Model releases are not required for editorial purposes but are required if used for financial gain. If you require a model release please check in the keywords of the photograph for a model release notification, ie; MODEL RELEASED or NOT MODEL RELEASED.
Do you add photos on a regular basis?
Yes. We add photos as they are taken. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos that we have posted. Photolibrary.co.za - Photography by Erik Forsteraims to have in excess of 10 000 photographs available before the end of 2007 and 25 000 by the end of 2008.
Can I submit photos to sell? Right now the only photos that we sell are the ones taken by Photolibrary.co.za - Photography by Erik Forster and it's partners. If you are a professional photographer or have a collection of high resolution photographs that could enhance the contents of this site please contact Erik.
Do you offer refunds? Once your purchase is made we can not offer a refund. The reason for this policy is because we offer full access to our entire digital collection of photos and, as such, there is no way for our products to be returned. On a rare occasion we will make exceptions on a case by case basis. Should the photograph not meet your expectations in terms of quality we will endeavour to either supply you with a higher resolution version of the photograph or credit your account so that you can choose an alternate photograph.
Are there any restrictions on my use of the Photolibrary.co.za - Photography by Erik Forster photos that I download?
Yes. While Photolibrary.co.za - Photography by Erik Forster offers great freedoms and a wide ranges of uses, we do not allow the redistribution of our photos, or allow the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format.
If I purchase a subscription are there any other fees I will encounter when downloading from the site?
No, your subscription allows you access to a pre-determined number of downloads, after which you can top up or renew a subscription. If you would like an unlimited subscription please contact us and we can negotiate a deal.
Is account sharing allowed? No, sharing an account is no different than distributing our materials to others. Individual accounts must be purchased by your friends and colleagues. I cannot see a payment to Photolibrary.co.za on my bank statement?
Payments are made to a sister company's account and will reflect on your bank statement as a payment to Copyright Protect cc.
I bought a subscription, but it says I'm not activated, what do I do? On rare occasions our merchant processors may not send the information of your transaction to our system, so your account may not be automatically activated. Therefore, if you have made a purchase of our yearly subscription and you are not able to access photos Photolibrary.co.za - Photography by Erik Forster using your details, send a support request.
